The Temecula Turkey Trot 5k &10K Run/Walk at Cougar Vineyard & Winery is benefiting the Sun Strides Foundation, raising funds to support sustainable energy projects in East Africa.

Pets are welcome at this event!
They can even get their own bib number for $5.

Wine tasting (for runners over 21) is included with your race entry. Come join us in celebrating the 2nd year anniversary of Cougar Vineyard and Winery.

T-shirts for this run are available for $5 in advance and $10 on the day of the race. Help us build a sustainable volunteer camp in East Afrca! Receive a free t-shirt when you raise $100 for the Sun Strides Foundation. Get set up with a fundraising page when you register online.

If it is determined that weather conditions are unsave or the event to take place, a rescuedule date will be set and we are sorry but NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

From the 15 North
Exit Temecula/Warner Springs - CA-79
Turn Right on CA-79
Continue on CA-79 for appx 4 miles
Turn Left on Anza Rd
Turn Right on De Portola Rd for 4.9 miles
Cougar Winery will be on the left.
Parking will be available at Frangiapani Winery immediately before Cougar and also on the property right after the Cougar Driveway.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
5K - The 5K is an out and back run/walk starting and finishing at Cougar Winery. The course starts on De Portola Rd and turns right onto Monte De Oro (a dirt road) The 5K turnaround is at the first water station. See course map below.
10k - The 10k is also an out and back run/walk starting and finishing at Cougar Winery. The Course starts on De Portola Rd and turns right onto Monte De Oro (a dirt road) The 10k continues past the first water station/5k turnaround and makes a left shortly after the first water station onto Camino Del Vino. There are some rolling hills and the turn around is at the 2nd water station. Course map below.

VOLUNTEERS:

We need volunteers at the Temecula Turkey Trot 5k and 10k to be course marshals, pass out water to runners, hand out goody bags, provide spirit/cheer on the course, and help with registration and timing.

We also need volunteers in the following areas, event photography, graphic design, musical performers,

All volunteers will receive FREE entry into any future Sun Strides event, a letter vouching for their service hours, an event shirt, an event goody bag & breakfast(if available)
